  • If your new drive gear shaft appears different, fear not! Just grab an 11/16" deep well socket, or a small piece of 1/2" i.d. copper pipe @ 1 1/2" long & a small hammer.
  • Screw on your handle nut until it's somewhat flush with the top of the drive gear shaft.
  • Now give it a tap, or two, or three...
  • ... & it should something like this...
  • & this.
  • Same thing applies to the other drive gear shaft.
  • Now install the screw on the bottom of the drive gear shaft & position the A/R ratchet so the two flat sides line up with the ones on the drive gear shaft & give it a few taps until the A/R ratchet is properly seated.
  • Here's what they look like when your finished. This only took less than a minute & a half!
