*This part is also referred to as "Washer 'A' & "Hold Plate Washer".

This washer resides between hold plate & the drive shaft retainer (i.e. 'E' clip) & can also be found at the end of the worm shaft (on the handle side of the reel) between the "conical" counter gear & the worm shaft collar (bushing).
